NOW HIRING! Board Certified Behavior Analyst® (BCBA®) / CASE MANAGER

SVABA is looking for experienced Case  Managers!

What is a Case Manager (CM)?

Picture
All CMs at SVABA are active BCBAs. Most SVABA programs are “3-tier,” including the CM, a Case Supervisor (CS), and Behavior Technicians (BT). The CM is the high-level supervisor at SVABA working in collaboration with Case Supervisors (CS), ensuring they have the tools to support the Behavior Technicians (BT) for each learner. The CM leads these teams using current best practices emphasizing a positive behavioral approach with compassion, humility, and clear communication. A CM works on treatment planning, protocol development, data analysis, and other administrative duties.
A CM creates their own calendar and is responsible for balancing the needs of all of the learners on their caseload, and ensures each learner and staff member is provided with the correct amount of supervision.

A CM works with the CS to help train BTs in ABA principles and teaching strategies, as well as training them on the individually-developed protocols for the learner. A CM must be able to explain behavior analytic principles in layman’s terms for caregivers and BTs. They must be just as comfortable working directly with their learners to model skills as they are with observing and providing constructive feedback to BTs and CSs. CMs are responsible for caregiver training and collaboration of care with other professionals such as speech therapists, occupational therapists, or teachers.
